Our principal goal at Double R is simply to gain one Satisfied Client at a time. Our owner operated company has over 18 years experience in servicing Long Island, Queens, NYC and Westchester. We have three separate divisions and all are experts in each of their specialized field; Double R Contracting Inc. operates as a General Contractor, Double R Electrical Contracting, Inc. is an Electrical Contractor and Double R Security Inc. specializes in Fire & Security Alarms.

Our professional, dedicated management team insures your project operates efficiently, finishes on schedule and within budget. Double R; works with your Architects and Engineers to help assure your project is designed and built to all applicable building codes; submits and obtains all necessary applications and permits; and guarantees we will pass all obligatory inspections and will attain all required certificates.

Rodney Ragen, President

Owner and President of Double R since 1990, Rodney Ragen, has built a small 3 man electrical company into a successful three division contracting operation. Working for local electricians starting in 1983, he gained the skills and knowledge to become a licensed Master Electrician by 1989. He now holds (5) Master Electrical Licenses, (8) reciprocal licenses, (3) Home Improvement licenses and a NY State license to install and service Fire & Security Alarms.

He contributes the success of his company to his goal of satisfying each and every customer. Clients enjoy his professional knowledge and dedication to completing every project to their expectations, or better. Once a Homeowner or Company has worked with Rodney and his management team, they become a client for life.

Rest assured, there are still good, honest contractors out there who can complete a project cost effectively, satisfy the client, and treat the employees who make it happen with respect and professionalism. Double R is one of those few contractors and Rodney is to be credited for that.
